Nine. Damn. Months.

Y'all. That's three-quarters of a year … and he's still not done cooking. I'm feeling every ounce of this third trimester: I've napped at least once every day, I can't move without being in pain, the waddle is strong with this one and I'm just straight exhausted. I couldn't even be fucked to try to look any cuter for this week's photo. Just a few more weeks to go …

As promised, I'm taking a page out of my rad homie Cris from Kiss My Tulle‘s book (who took a page from Little Baby Garvin) and will do my damndest to post weekly updates … because someone out there might give a shit and want to know what's going on with this whole thing.

How far along? 36 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I weighed in at 167.6 last week, so about 26-27 pounds.
Maternity clothes? These tanks from Target and shorts, pretty much always. I am also pretty much exclusively living in these nursing bras, (because I just can't with underwire anymore) and #MFE's boxers. It's a struggle for me to even think about real clothes.
Stretch marks? Yup.
Sleep: LOLOLOLOL. The worst. Bathroom trips have increased, along with hip pain and other aches.
Best moment this week: We got our stuff out of our Florida storage unit, where it's been for about three years!!! This also means we eliminated a pretty chunky bill, which is awesome, and we got our good bed frame back, in addition to a couch, which we'll put in #babything's room, and so many other knick-knacks and artwork. I almost cried when I opened a box and found my dry measuring cups and spoons.
Miss Anything? Energy and motivation. I have so much to do, and I just want to read Harry Potter and sleep.
Movement: It's party time, 24/7.
Food cravings: Topo Chico is my number one, but I've really been wanting smoothies or juice — especially in the morning, the first time I wake up. But I haven't been as hungry lately, either.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, not really. Which is a nice change of pace.
Gender: Still a dude.
Labor Signs: Hell no. Thank goodness. Though I have started to feel small signs of contractions, which is apparently totes normal.
Belly Button in or out? It's kind of a halfie.
Wedding rings on or off? On … my pinkie finger. Between the constant hand pain and the swelling, it's too hard to battle keeping it on my ring finger, but it's sitting pretty securely on my pinkie.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Not really either. Just tired.
Looking forward to: Getting our bed frame set up and clearing out some of these boxes. I'm struggling with the motivation, but it'll be nice to actually get our shit together.

I feel like our calendar is overflowing with appointments and to-dos before #babything gets here. Next week alone, I'm going to the social security office to change my name, we have to drop off rent, the cats are going to a vet appointment, we have a doctor's appointment and a prenatal class — on top of #MFE working two jobs and me continuing to tie up loose ends before leave. It's insanity, you guys.
