Knocked-Up Chronicles: 25 Weeks

This post contains affiliate links. Because this is an affiliate marketing blog, so, #duh. This means I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post.

After all the excitement of last week, this week's been considerably more quiet. My mind has been focused heavily on work, dealing with some WordPress plugin issues and social media drama on The Broke-Ass Bride, meeting with and organizing couples for Little Wedding Extras, working on posts for this blog ahead of ThinkTank and preparing for my dual presentations next week. I said more quiet, not less busy.

As promised, I'm taking a page out of my rad homie Cris from Kiss My Tulle‘s book (who took a page from Little Baby Garvin) and will do my damndest to post weekly updates … because someone out there might give a shit and want to know what's going on with this whole thing.

How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Scale at the doc today said 157.2.
Maternity clothes? Yuppp. It's been leggings and tank tops all. damn. week.
Stretch marks? Not yet, but I know they're coming.
Sleep: Eh, not amazing but not awful. Our new mattress is my everything, though, and is so much more comfortable, so even if I'm not sleeping I'm at least happy.
Best moment this week: Hearing #babything's heartbeat today.
Miss Anything? Happy hour. Being comfortable.
Movement: YES! Definitely, definitively and FINALLY I can tell little dude is rocking around hardcore in there. And #MFE's been able to feel him, too, which has been pretty great.
Food cravings: Pretty much anything. I've been RAVENOUS. I did have a hardcore Gummy Bear binge yesterday. And I'm still in dire need for sparkling water always.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific, but I'm still getting the random wave of nausea from time to time.
Gender: Still a dude.
Labor Signs: Hell no. Thank goodness.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On, but I have to take it off occasionally.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy.
Looking forward to: Chicago! Getting to see my blogger buddies and affiliate marketing homies and visiting a city I've never been to before! I'mma go stick some toesies in Lake Michigan, bitches.

I had my one-hour glucose test this morning and I'm super hoping I pass — especially after the nurse said if I failed they'd have to draw blood four times during the three-hour test and I just can't with that. His heartbeat is super strong, I've put on 6 pounds in four weeks and everything seems just fine otherwise!
