Yipes. Nine months. And you just keep growing and growing! We had your 9-month checkup, complete with vaccinations (YAY.), and you’re weighing in at 23.7 pounds and are 29.5 inches long. Whew! No wonder it feels like I’m getting a workout just holding you! You’re crawling as fast as lightning, and now you’re pulling up
Time has been slipping past us so quickly I can barely stop to catch a breath — as evident by the fact that this is weeks late and we’re nearly to 9 months. Eek. Where is my mind? So much has happened in the last month: Teething has ramped up, as has solid food intake.
Seven months already? They (whoever they are) weren’t kidding when they said this time goes by quickly. There has been so much going on, with your growth, with our work and everything in between that if we don’t pause for a second you’re going to be cruising out the door for college!
Holy shit. Six months already? How did that happen? Little one, this blows my mind. You’ve been growing and growing, both physically and mentally.
Five months down with no signs of slowing! My sweet boy, these growing pains are very real for you. Teething has gotten especially rough, and it’s so hard to see you in pain. But with all these aches come great new strides, and it’s amazing to watch as you discover something new nearly every day.
Dear 2016, You’ve been getting a lot of hate. And man, I get it. You were super rough in a lot of aspects. You were violent, hateful, dangerous, misogynistic, unrelenting and incredibly selfish. You took many of our favorite artists, you divided our country politically, racially, through class and through orientation. You were too damn
Child, you need to slow your roll on this whole growing thing! In a matter of moments you went from 0-3 month clothes to the bigger side of 3-6 month clothes, and my biceps are feeling every ounce of it.
Three months already! This last month has been a busy one for us, as I plunged back into coordinating weddings and #MFE has been working his butt off (as per usual).
Look, I totally see the value of personally experiencing a merchant’s product so you can speak to it in the most natural way. But there’s a process — and more importantly a relationship — that needs to be recognized and respected. You know how we get all pissy about those pitches that ask us to promote their company or product without any sort of compensation? It’s kind of like that.
Two whole months! Man, has it flown by. We had amazing visits from both grandparents, spent lots of time with friends and learned a lot about how to function on little sleep.
